About Us
Who we are – Our volunteers are passionate about all of the unclaimed property issues that exist in this country today. We dedicate our focus to help solving the pervasive issues of lost money currently in the care of county, state and federal government agencies nationwide.
Andrew Hamilton, CPA, started his own consulting firm in 2009 which specializes in providing senior-level consulting in Accounting and Finance departments for Fortune 1000 companies. Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Systems from the Taylor University in 1992. Upon graduation, he joined Arthur Andersen & Co and has held progressively responsible positions at the Walt Disney Company, Gambro Healthcare, GTC Telecom and Semitropic Water Storage District. In 2006, he joined the Orange County office of DLC, the Woodland Hills based Accounting and Finance consulting firm, as an Accounting Management Consultant. DLC competes with Big 4 consulting firms hiring only Big 4 CPA’s or MBA’s from the nation’s 25 top-ranked schools.
In 2009, Andrew established his own consulting firm which has served Fortune 1000 companies by providing interim management in consulting roles. Andrew is also the founder and President of Discovered Money, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves individuals and non-profits find their Unclaimed Property. Andrew sits on the board of True Hope Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Lake Forest, California. Andrew currently resides in Lake Forest, California. Chad Raeside, CPA, attended the University of Northern Iowa where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 1996. After ten years of public accounting experience in audit and tax, Chad opted to serve the private sector. He has extensive experience with data analysis, web design, programming and business intelligence dashboards. He has analyzed unclaimed property data for many years and currently resides in the Quad Cities (Iowa) area. Chad has served as the Chief Technology Officer of Discovered Money since March 2011.
